CULTIVAR GUEST LODGE – A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

Stellenbosch needs no introduction – Situated just over 50km from Cape Town city centre, Stellenbosch is the second-oldest European settlement in the country founded by Simon van der Stel in 1679.

With roughly 150 wineries in the Western Cape Winelands, this region is South Africa’s biggest wine producer and its wines are well-known globally, competing with high-end wines from Europe, Australia, Argentina, and many more. If you are a food, wine, or outdoor lover, the only thing you will worry about when you visit this region is time and choosing which winery to visit or activities to enjoy.

Cultivar Guest Lodge

Fortunately, the majestic Cultivar Guest Lodge is situated perfectly in the centre of it all, making it an ideal location for anyone who wishes to spend a night or two in the area.

Cultivar Guest Lodge

Cultivar Guest Lodge offers bed and breakfast boutique accommodation and it consists of 16 uniquely and individually decorated rooms each with its own look and feel, still keeping in perfect harmony with the ambiance of the main guest house and the surroundings.

If a special touch of individuality and exquisite location with mountain views and beautiful vineyards are what you are looking for, Cultivar Guest Lodge ticks all the boxes.

Cultivar Guest Lodge

The lodge feels far and secluded yet is located only 7km from the Stellenbosch town centre and approximately 35 minutes from Cape Town city centre. When you walk to your room, you will be welcomed by the endless well-manicured green lawn and two very inviting swimming pools that exhume a feeling of utter relaxation and calm, and views of the Stellenbosch Mountains and luscious vineyards. The unique building style and design of the main house which is used as a reception area, lounge, dining area, and events venue as well as outside guest rooms are all in perfect harmony with the surrounding backdrop of greenery, mountains, and vineyards. TYPES OF ROOMS

Most of the rooms have private patios to give guests some privacy from each other. We were fortunate to be the only guests in our section but I still feel like we would have had the same privacy even if there were other guests around. The patios are great for enjoying sundowners or to just relax while listening to a slight whistle of the warm wind and the sound of birds.
